Unique Hybrid Montessori-Outdoor/Experiential Learning
Planted Seed Montessori School, where we learn, play, and discover, is on the ancestral, treaty, and title lands of two Anishinaabek Ojibwe Nations: the Michi Saagig of the Credit and the Saugeen Ojibway Nation.
This land also includes a specified tract of land granted to the Six Nations of the Grand River. As educators, we play a key role in modelling reconciliatory behaviour with our students in our lessons and actions.
Centrally located in the Old University Neighbourhood of Guelph

Bright, airy classroom
In the centre of a vibrant community hub! Our ground floor classroom boasts massive windows that fill the room with light and are easily opened for fresh air.
Access to a fully equipped gymnasium
There is a 2200 square foot gymnasium at the Community Hub, which we will have access to for several hours each day. The gym can be used during adverse weather, for physical education, and as a lunch space when the weather does not permit outdoor eating.
Kitchen access
We even have access to a kitchen! This will allow for the experiential portion of our day to include baking and cooking.
