Ramona hails from the small, green country of Latvia, but from an early age, she was immersed in an international environment, attending international schools and later moving to France at the age of 10. Over the past eight years, she has lived and taught in various countries around the world. Fluent in four languages, Ramona has also taught French and English to children while she herself is on the path to learning a fifth language.

Through her diverse teaching experiences, Ramona has connected with children of all ages across the globe, gaining a deep appreciation for the beauty of childhood and the potential within each child to become their best selves. She believes this potential can be nurtured through an education that works in harmony with the child, empowering them to succeed in life and instilling a love of learning. Ramona earned a B.Ed in International Primary Teaching (ages 5-12) in the Netherlands and embarked on the path to becoming an AMI 3-6 Montessori Guide at the Montessori Institute Prague, where she received her diploma in March 2024.

Despite being away from home for many years, Ramona finds joy in reconnecting with nature, particularly when she dips her bare feet into the forest ground and flower fields, reminiscent of her childhood spent in the natural surroundings of her grandmother's home. This connection to nature is something she cherishes and seeks to share with children through outdoor classroom experiences.

Ramona has long dreamed of illustrating and writing a children’s picture book, and she is currently honing her artistic skills. She considers it a great gift to take children on this creative journey with her. Ramona is eager to rediscover art through the eyes of children, meeting with them weekly to mix colors, experiment on paper, and get their hands dirty with clay, fostering a shared exploration of creativity.
